Yorkshire Order of Foresters (Y.O.F.) – Loyal British Court (L.B.C.) Ceremonial Jewel / Sash Badge, (60 x 60 mm) c. 1900–1925 Gilt metal with coloured enamel, suspended from a wide maroon moiré ribbon with blue edge stripes. A striking fraternal / friendly-society jewel, suspended from its original broad ribbon. The upper clasp is a gilt bar bearing the initials L • B • C, centred by an emblematic animal-head device. Below hangs a gilt All-Seeing Eye within radiating rays, set above crossed mallets, leading down to the main cross-form badge. The principal badge is a white enamel cross with gilt ball terminals, featuring side panels with standing allegorical figures and a clasped-hands motif to the lower arm (symbolic of fellowship). At centre is a deep blue enamel roundel with a relief stag/elk head, lettered Y.O.F above and L.B.C. below. Reverse: Plain gilt reverse (as photographed), with ribbon wear consistent with age and use. Condition: Good. Enamel generally sound; gilt with expected rubbing; ribbon shows clear wear/creasing and loose threads, but remains presentable.
