Mid–20th Century** Maker: Spencer London Material: Gilt Metal with Polychrome Enamel; original riband A finely executed Primo Jewel for Town Moor Lodge No. 3694, featuring a gilt starburst form enclosing a blue enamelled circular panel bearing the intertwined RB cipher, surrounded by the motto: PALMA NON SINE PULVERE The jewel is surmounted by a blue enamelled PRIMO scroll and suspended from its original blue riband, complete with gilt mounting bars and original pin fitting. The ribbon retains its woven gilt initials. The reverse is engraved: BRO. CHARLES R. W. BEST ADMIRAL BELLING LODGE No. 2217 EXALTED 11–3–56 and bears the maker’s mark SPENCER LONDON, confirming quality English manufacture. Condition: Very Fine. Enamel bright and largely intact with minimal surface wear; gilt retaining good colour with light age patina; ribbon original with some fading and handling wear consistent with age; fittings complete and secure. A well-preserved and historically interesting named example.
