The upper suspension bar is a decorative gilt element inscribed PRESIDENT, with a matched lower bar engraved 1949. Between these bars hangs the original blue ribbon with red, white, and yellow central stripes, embroidered in gold with the intertwined RAOB initials R.A.O.B. G.L.E. The large pendant medallion features intricate openwork scrolls forming an ornate eight-pointed frame.
