Presented Jewel to Bro. B. Gage, R.A.O.B., For Services Rendered (38.49 x 51.73 mm, 37.00 g). Presented jewel, gilt metal, suspended from its original ribbed pale blue silk ribbon with narrow dark and light edge stripes, fitted with an ornate gilt suspension bar and a top bar enamelled “R.A.O.B.”, together with an additional bar inscribed “UNITY GEORGE LODGE”. The obverse displaying a finely cast gilt shield-shaped jewel surmounted by a crown, centred with a handshake motif beneath a green maple leaf emblem, flanked by red enamel scrolls inscribed “SERVICES” and “RENDERED”, and finished with decorative foliage and symbolic detailing. The reverse engraved “PRESENTED TO BRO. B. GAGE FOR SERVICES RENDERED”, with maker’s marks below, retaining its original long pin fastening. A well-preserved and clearly inscribed presentation jewel, awarded in recognition of service, retaining its original ribbon and fittings, and displaying strong fraternal symbolism. Condition: Very good, with light surface wear and patina consistent with age; ribbon sound with minor age-related wear.
