A gilt-metal and enamel steward jewel issued by the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls for the year 1965. The central gilt badge displays the white shield charged with three wolf-heads, set against radiating gilt rays and surrounded by a blue enamel band inscribed ROYAL MASONIC INSTITUTION FOR GIRLS · 1965. Surmounted by the enamelled crown and suspended from the original white ribbon with blue enamel STEWARD bar.
Reverse stamped J.R. GAUNT LONDON, typical of mid-20th century RMIG production.
Condition: Very fine; enamel intact; mild wear to gilt; original ribbon lightly aged.
