A well-crafted and attractive Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (R.A.O.B.) attendance jewel, presented in 1980, executed in gilt and enamel over sterling silver, and suspended from its original light-blue and white ribbon. This jewel represents the modern, refined style of late 20th-century RAOB regalia.
The top bar features a gilt scroll engraved with the Order’s motto, attached to a crisp ribbed ribbon in alternating blue and white. Hanging below is the distinctive six-armed star badge, encircled by a laurel wreath symbolising merit and dedication.
At the centre of the star appears a lion’s head in relief, surrounded by a blue enamel band inscribed with the RAOB motto:
