Bruttium. Kroton. Circa 530-500 BC. Stater (Silver, 28.02 mm, 6.56 g). ϘPO, Tripod with three ring handles and two snakes rising from the bowl, the legs ending in lion's feet; below, beaded exergual line between two parallel lines; all within raised cable and dotted border. Rev. Same type as the obverse but incuse and without legend; the three ring handles and two snakes are raised; rayed border.Cf. HN Italy 2075. P.
