BRONZE FEET FROM A SMALL STATUETTE
Ancient, possibly Roman.
Fragmentary bronze representing a pair of feet, preserved from a small-scale statuette. The feet are rendered in a naturalistic manner, with gently modeled contours and a slight forward stance, suggesting a standing figure. The piece is broken just above the ankles, with the upper part of the figure now lost.
Such fragments are commonly associated with small votive figures, originally dedicated in domestic or sanctuary contexts. The surface shows age-related wear and encrustations.
Mounted on an elegant plexiglass display stand, included.
