Caracalla standing left, clasping right hands with Plautilla standing right. RIC IV 362; C. 21. AR. 2.69 g. 19.5 mm. Scarce. Attractive black patina. Good VF. Fulvia Plautilla was the daughter of the powerful praetorian prefect Plautianus, a fellow towns-man of Septimius Severus. She was married to Caracalla in 202, but three years later she was banished following the downfall of her father.
