Specimen purchased in May 1987. Exceptionally rare tetradrachm of Julia Mamaea, notable for its pleasing style, both in the portrait of the Augusta on the obverse and in the harmonious depiction of the complementary youthful deities Helios and Selene. Its provenance from the Giovanni Dattari collection further guarantees the prestige of this coin.
