Tipical Harpokrates standing half-naked facing, wearing hem-hem crown, head left, holding in his left arm a cornucopia and a flap of the chlamys while putting his right index finger in his mouth; behind him a papyrus branch; LI (date) in field. On the reverse of this very rare tetradrachm is reproduced the image of the official iconography of the child Harpokrates, son of the mystical union of Isis and Osiris, no longer an infant and not yet an adolescent, also reproduced in coeval statuary in several variants. To be distinguished from the Harpokrates of Pelusium mentioned in no. 341 of this collection.
