Walton Church – Pictorial Brooch / Badge (Gold, 44.30 x 31.23 mm, 5.60 g). In a burgundy leather fitted box, gilt-tooled to lid. 1890-1915. A charming gold and enamel Walton Church brooch, of diamond form with star-point terminals, centred by a shield-shaped cartouche finely decorated with a painted view of a church and grounds. Beneath the scene, a black enamel ribbon scroll reads: WALTON CHURCH The piece is designed as a horizontal bar-brooch, with the decorative badge mounted centrally and the pin extending across the full width, giving a smart, wearable presentation. Reverse: The reverse retains its original bar-brooch fitting with hinged pin and catch. A set of small stamp marks / hallmarks is visible to the lower right area (as shown in the photo). Condition: Very good. Enamel/painted centre well preserved with light age wear; gold with minor surface marks; fittings secure. Box with expected handling wear.
