Silver River Lodge Founder’s jewel, silver, suspended from its original multi-coloured ribbed silk ribbon, fitted with a red enamelled suspension bar inscribed “SILVER RIVER LODGE”, and retaining its original pin fastening. The obverse with a silver circular openwork medallion, featuring a dove in flight carrying an olive branch, suspended beneath a triangular Founder’s emblem, with an oval enamelled plaque inscribed “FOUNDER” enclosing “No. 628”, the ribbon displaying the characteristic graduated colour bands associated with founder or commemorative lodge jewels. The reverse plain silver, with maker’s mark “SPINK & SON LTD, LONDON”, additional hallmarks visible, and original long pin fastening intact. A well-executed early 20th century Masonic Founder’s jewel, notable for its symbolic dove motif and original ribbon, preserved in attractive, honest condition. Condition: Very good, with light wear and patina consistent with age; enamel intact; ribbon clean with minor age-related toning. Date: Early 20th century.
