A gilt and enamel medal of the Independent Order of Foresters, suspended from a blue ribbed ribbon, the obverse with ornate gilt-framed shield enamelled in white, red and blue. The centre displays the red heart and handshake symbols of the Order, flanked by the initials I • O • F, with the motto initials L • B • C (Liberty, Benevolence, Concord) on the lower scroll. The upper scroll reads BRITISH ISLES & SONS FUND in blue enamel. Reverse plain, retaining original suspension loop; ribbon worn from age. Condition: Good to very good; enamel intact with minor surface wear, gilding with age patina, ribbon visibly frayed but original.
