A Gold-Gilt and Enamel Masonic Jewel, Early 20th Century (38.89 x 78.73 mm, 36.05 g).
A finely crafted Masonic jewel, the obverse featuring the traditional Square and Compasses centred with the letter G, symbolising Geometry and the Great Architect. The background highlighted with blue enamel and surrounded by detailed foliate decoration. Above, a radiant star and rosette motif form the suspension, complete with original loop.
The reverse plain and uninscribed, retaining a smooth polished surface. Gold-gilt throughout with attractive warm tone.
Condition: Very fine; minor enamel wear, light handling marks; suspension intact.
A well-executed example of Masonic ceremonial jewellery, likely produced for lodge officers during the early 20th century.
