A fine presentation lodge jewel of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (Grand Lodge of England), comprising a top bar engraved ADMIRAL JELLICOE LODGE 2217, supporting the original striped ribbon in yellow, blue, maroon and gold. Suspended below is a circular medal with blue enamel border inscribed JUSTICE TRUTH PHILANTHROPY surmounted by a crown, the central oval enamelled ROYAL ANTEDILUVIAN ORDER OF BUFFALOES CLE. The reverse is engraved PRESENTED TO BRO. CHAS. L. WEST RAISED TO SECOND DEGREE BY THE ADMIRAL JELLICOE LODGE SUNBURY IN APPRECIATION OF HIS VALUABLE SERVICES 1921, fully hallmarked for sterling silver with maker’s mark L&Co. Condition: Very good; ribbon with mild wear and fading, enamel intact, silver with attractive age patina. A fine and scarce personalized RAOB presentation jewel in sterling silver.
