The ribbon is the characteristic deep blue associated with elevated rank within the order. The medallion displays the classic interlaced star motif with central buffalo imagery and the surrounding Latin mottoes: WISDOM – FAITH – KNOWLEDGE DEO – REGI – FRATRIBUS – HONOR – FIDELITAS – BENEVOLENTIA All enamel fields remain clean and well preserved, contrasting elegantly with the gilt metal frame. The lower roundel contains the early-style “H” monogram, used in several pre-war and mid-century Buffalo lodges. The reverse retains the original pin, hinge, and clasp, with signs of genuine period wear. Ribbon is original, clean, and unfaded — unusual for pieces of this age. Condition: Very Good.
