Maker: George Kenning & Son (G.K.&S), London Hallmarked Sterling Silver (London, 1934–35) Occasion: 50th Anniversary (Jubilee) of the Lodge A superb and beautifully enamelled Jubilee Jewel issued in 1935 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Chiswick Lodge of Mark Master Masons No. 357, founded in 1885. Crafted in sterling silver with a pictorial enamel centre, this jewel showcases the elegant commemorative style typical of high-quality Mark regalia. The top suspension bar is cast in gilt and boldly inscribed: JUBILEE It supports the original ribbon in crimson and white vertical stripes, symbolising dignity and purity within Masonic colour tradition. Obverse The main badge is shaped in a Mark keystone outline, a defining symbol of the Order. At the top and bottom are the dates: 1885 – 1935 At the centre lies a beautifully hand-painted enamel roundel depicting a picturesque church with steeple amid trees and blue sky, representing the historic identity of the Chiswick Lodge. Surrounding the scene is a blue enamel band reading: CHISWICK LODGE OF M.M.M. No. 357 The classical architectural form and soft enamel colours give the jewel exceptional visual appeal.
