The ornate top bar is executed in gilt metal with a moulded foliate design, from which the ribbon descends embroidered in gold with the intertwined RAOB initials R.A.O.B. G.L.E. The pendant shield displays a bold central monogram with the RAOB buffalo head entwined in script, set against a white enamel field. Surrounding the central device are three blue enamel scroll panels bearing the inscription: DELEGATE TO PROV.
