The obverse takes the form of a broad-armed cross bearing the letters R A O B to each arm, with a central enamelled device featuring the buffalo’s head, horn and laurel wreath — emblematic of strength, fellowship, and benevolence. The upper suspension bar is engraved “HANNON LODGE No. 671”, confirming lodge attribution. The reverse is engraved to a named brother, recording service within the Order (details visible in the engraving), and retains its original suspension ring and period pin-back mounting. Condition: Very Fine. Light surface wear and mellow toning consistent with age; enamel intact with good colour; ribbon sound with minor handling marks; engraving clear and legible.
