Army CK Shire – Assistant’s Jewel (41.66 mm, 51.13 g). Mid–20th Century** Maker: Spencer London Material: Gilt Metal with Blue Enamel; original riband A well-made Assistant’s Jewel for the Army CK Shire, executed in gilt metal with a translucent blue enamelled ground. The oval medallion bears crossed symbolic implements within a radiating blue field, encircled by the legend: ARMY CK SHIRE A scroll below denotes the office ASSISTANT. The jewel is suspended from its original deep blue riband, fitted with decorative gilt bars above and retaining its original pin fitting. The reverse is plain, struck with the maker’s mark SPENCER LONDON, confirming period manufacture. Condition: Very Fine. Enamel clean and well preserved; gilt showing light age wear only; ribbon original and strong with minor handling marks; fittings intact and secure. An attractive and honest example of mid-20th-century Army Masonic regalia.
