An ornate gilt-metal and multi-coloured enamel steward jewel issued by the Royal Masonic Institution for Boys for the Festival of 1946. The shaped medallion displays the heraldic shield supported by a griffin and lion, surmounted by a coronet, with the motto SANS CHANGER below. The surrounding ribbon reads ROYAL MASONIC INSTITUTION FOR BOYS · 1946 in gilt lettering on pink and white enamel.
Suspended from a gilt scroll hanger with blue enamel STEWARD bar. Reverse impressed G. KENNING & SON LONDON, typical of post-war RMIB production.
Condition: Very fine; enamel vibrant and complete; mild gilding wear; original ribbon absent.
