A scarce Founder’s Jewel for the consecration of City Wall Lodge No. 6793, London, dated 30 November 1948. The gilt and blue enamel top bar inscribed FOUNDER suspends a pale blue ribbed ribbon, from which hangs a circular enamel medallion displaying the lodge arms and legend THE CITY WALL LODGE – LONDON – NOV. 30. 1948 – No. 6793. Reverse stamped STERLING SILVER, with original pin-back fitting.
Condition: Very fine; minor age wear to gilding, enamels clean and intact, ribbon lightly handled. A desirable post-war Founder’s Jewel.
