The jewel is suspended from an eye-catching ribbon in the colours green, orange, and black, folded in the typical RAOB rosette style at the top of the pendant. The medallion is circular, with a white enamel border framing a dark enamel field upon which is mounted a beautifully modelled gilt moose head with full antlers. A small roundel at the base contains a further gilt device, possibly lodge- or rank-related, completing the composition.
