Presented Jewel to Bro. B. Bogg, C.P., For Services Rendered as Trustee, 1959–1960 (41.71 x 35.40 mm, 20.66 g). Presented Masonic jewel, gilt metal, suspended from its original ribbed silk ribbon in red with grey and yellow central stripes, bearing an embroidered R.A.O.B. monogram, fitted with an ornate gilt suspension bar, and a second bar inscribed “WEST CLIFF LODGE No. 1880”. The obverse with a gilt cross-form jewel, finely engraved, centred with a blue enamel roundel bearing the motto “NEMO MORTALIUM OMNIBUS HORIS SAPIIT”, enclosing a lion’s head motif, the whole suspended from decorative fittings. The reverse engraved “PRESENTED TO BRO. B. BOGG, C.P., FOR SERVICES RENDERED AS TRUSTEE, 1959–1960”, with maker’s marks below, retaining its original long pin fastening. A clearly inscribed and dated presentation jewel, awarded in recognition of service as Trustee, retaining its original ribbon and fittings, and displaying strong ceremonial and symbolic character. Condition: Very good, with light surface wear and patina consistent with age; enamel well preserved; ribbon sound with minor age-related wear.
