Study Forgeries. Siculo-Punic, Entella "Tetradrachm". Sicily, 1980s - 1990s (Silver, 24 mm, 17.07 g). Head of Tanit-Persephone left; four dolphins around. Rev. Horse's head left; palm tree behind; Punic script ('MMHNT = People of the Camp) below. Cfr. Jenkins, Punic 187 (O55/R164). A dangerous forgery produced with the transfer-die technique, struck on a genuine ancient flan and subsequently darkened with graphite (commonly from pencil tips).
