Streaming Cape - No Extra Tail

Cr. 53/2; RRSC B57V. AR. 4.03 g. 19 mm. RRR. Extremely rare. Brilliant with uneven blackish tone. Traces of die shift on obverse, otherwise. about EF. This coin clearly belongs to Group B57, the 'Streaming Cape' type. However, it lacks the extra tail on the reverse, and is therefore classified as B57V (Variant), originating from a transitional die leading toward B58. An extremely rare peculiarity.
