Lot # 1002 - DACIAN SILVER FIBULA Eastern Europe, Dacian Culture, c. 1st century BC. Massive Dacian silver fibula, with three bigger and three smaller knobs on the arch. In addition, two silver fibula springs. Dimensions: 99 x 26.5 mm. Weight: 90 g. Rare and fascinating item. Missings. The two springs were probably part of another fibula.

On the foot is impressed the seal of the potter 'SABBA / TIVS'. Dimensions: 104 x 75 mm. Very interesting item. Intact and complete.

Left part of a ceramic group, representing Herakles naked except for traces of the lion's skin around the neck, with the club raised, in the act of striking an enemy. Traces of painting. Lot # 988 - TERRA SIGILLATA PLATE Roman period, 1st century AD. Italic terra sigillata plate, with vertical lip with recessed profile, flat bowl, and tall ring foot. Decoration consisting of two relief stamps, of unclear identification, on the outside of the lip. In the center of the bowl, framed by two pairs of concentric lines, stamp in planta pedis with the potter's name. Width: 182 mm. Height: 35 mm. Minor damages.

Lot # 985 - MARBLE FRAGMENT Roman period, c. 2nd - 3rd century AD. Marble fragment, probably pertaining to a funerary stele. The deceased, wrapped in a toga that leaves his chest exposed, is depicted lying on his left side and resting on his left elbow. In his left hand he holds a container, from which liquid is leaking. On his right is represented what appears to be a crouching dog. Dimensions: 260 x 180 x 155 mm. Beautiful item. Missing parts.

Lot # 407 - Roman silver ring featuring a woman and a crescent (?). Circa 2nd century BC. (inner diam. 1.8 cm). Deformed and crystallized rod, with a surface crack on one side extending toward the bezel.
Lot # 406 - Roman silver ring in the shape of a coiled snake. Circa 3rd - 2nd centuries BC. (inner diam. 2.0 cm). Crystallized object, snake's head twisted and fragile.
Lot # 405 - Roman handle of a lead lamp holder, inscribed with the producer's name: L VALERIVS APO(...). Circa 1st - 2nd centuries AD. Cf. G. Baratta, "Porta-lucerne in piombo: considerazioni sulla classe di materiale alla luce degli esemplari iscritti", in G. Baratta (ed.), Instrumenta inscripta VIII. Plumbum litteratum. Studia epigraphica Giovanni Mennella oblata (Armariolum 3), Rome 2021, pp. 261-276. (7.0 x 1.7 cm). Originally ring-shaped, later unfolded, resulting in the break of the central section.

Lot # 403 - Roman Theater Admission Token. Circa 1st - 3rd centuries AD (Bone, 30.34 mm, 4.45 g). Tragic mask facing left. Rev. Blank, with graffiti: XIII above and IΓ below - likely indicating row and seat number. Nicely patinated. Fascinating piece. Very Rare.
Lot # 402 - Roman tag marked "S P Q R". Circa 1st - 3rd centuries AD (Bone, 57.96 x 16.51 mm). Two small nail holes at sides indicate it was meant to be affixed. Fractured and repaired.
Lot # 401 - Magna Graecia applique element with a facing lion mask. Circa 4th-3rd centuries BC (Bronze, 35.14 x 44.97 mm, 43.98 g). Professionally restored—with some minor tooling—on the obverse, while the reverse retains its original patina with deposits. It features the same iconography as the coinage of Rhegion.

Lot # 979 - 'GROMA' AMPHORA WEIGHT Roman period, 1st-3rd century AD. Weight in the shape of amphora with suspension loop. Dimensions: 46 x 19 mm. Weight: 42.21 g. In the building of a Castra, after having flattened the ground and before starting the ditch and wall construction, an agrimensor (land surveyor) drew the locations of the streets and of the wall, beginning from the center of the field, using the groma. Lot # 978 - VOTIVE LEAD PLATE Probably Roman republican period, c. 3rd-1st century BC. Lead plaque depicting a bearded figure in a long robe, probably leaning on a stick. Dimensions: 59x32 mm. Fascinating item. Damages and missings. The function of this plaque is unclear; it was probably a votive offering or part of the decoration of a larger object.
