Lot of fourteen (14) iron projectile points and spearheads of various forms and sizes, including elongated leaf-shaped examples with midrib as well as smaller, slender points likely intended for arrows or light javelins. Several pieces are fragmentary or heavily worn. Such implements are widely attested across the Mediterranean and European world from the Iron Age through the Roman period, serving both hunting and military purposes. Heavily corroded surfaces with encrustations and losses throughout. Max. length: 240 mm. 151 g.

Lotto n. 851 - ENAMELLED MILLEFIORI OPENWORK BRONZE DISC FIBULA. Roman period, 2nd-3rd century AD. Complex military (?) disc brooch shaped like an openwork disc, composed of four circular enameled discs with red, blue and withe millefiori decor alternating with four openwork circles each with small circular protrusion filled with enamel. Two arms placed at right angles connect the enameled discs. At the intersection ot these arms, there would normally be a stem surmounted by an attached enameled disc, wich is missing. AE. 11.59 g. 44 mm. Enamel partially missing. One openwork circle broken with missing protrusion. Needle intact but catch not complete.

Lotto n. 855 - GOLD RING SET WITH A NICOLO INTAGLIO. Roman period, 1st - 3rd century. A gold ring with a large massive round hoop and outbroad shoulders extending into an oval bezel set with a nicolo intaglio. The intaglio depicts a laureate portrait head looking left, maybe Apollo. Nicolo is a cameo or intaglio that is carved in onyx in such a way that the image displays a translucent bluish/grey color. This thin top layer of design lays atop a thicker layer of black material that shows through, imbuing the design with the characteristic tint of blue. Nicolo pieces have been carved since antiquity. Lotto n. 886 - ROMAN BRONZE TINTINNABULUM. A Roman bronze tintinnabulum of compact, slightly tapering form, widening towards the base. The rounded upper section is pierced by a large, irregular oval suspension opening. Roman Period, 1st–3rd century AD. Dimensions: 63 × 37 mm. 56.64 g. Tintinnabula were small sounding objects used throughout the Roman world. They could be suspended and employed for practical purposes, while in certain contexts bells and related sounding objects were also associated with apotropaic and protective functions.

The motives of the sun and stars/flowers are characteristic for the folk art of the Alpine region.
