Simpson Ltd., London Material: Gilt metal with multi-colour enamel; original riband A handsome and well-preserved Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Testimonial Jewel, issued by New Belsize Lodge No. 7478 and presented on 24 April 1963 to Bro. J. Woodhouse, C.P. “as a mark of respect.” The jewel features the classic RAOB intertwined monogram in bright enamel, set within a gilt laurel wreath and surmounted by the distinctive buffalo-horn motif. The jewel is suspended from a vibrant blue, white, red, and yellow striped riband, topped with a gilt bar bearing the word TESTIMONIAL in rich blue enamel. Lot # 419 - Lodge of Silent Temple No. 126 Jewel, Centenary 1762–1962 (36.80 mm, 25.67 g). Lodge of Silent Temple No. 126 jewel, gilt and enamel, commemorating the Bicentenary 1762–1962, suspended from its original pale blue ribbed silk ribbon fitted with ornate gilt scroll bars, the upper bar applied with a purple enamel “CC” device flanked by the dates 1762 – 1962, and a lower blue enamel bar inscribed “No. 126”. The obverse featuring a circular openwork gilt medallion within a pale blue enamel border lettered “LODGE OF SILENT TEMPLE”, enclosing an intricate interlaced symbolic motif, with the date 1762 at the base. Lot # 418 - Presented Jewel to Bro. B. Bogg, C.P., For Services Rendered as Trustee, 1959–1960 (41.71 x 35.40 mm, 20.66 g). Presented Masonic jewel, gilt metal, suspended from its original ribbed silk ribbon in red with grey and yellow central stripes, bearing an embroidered R.A.O.B. monogram, fitted with an ornate gilt suspension bar, and a second bar inscribed “WEST CLIFF LODGE No. 1880”. Maker: (Hallmarked Birmingham; silversmith initials present) Hallmarked Sterling Silver (Birmingham, 1958–59) A well-crafted and attractive Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (R.A.O.B.) Ascension Lodge Jewel, presented in 1959, and suspended from its original tricolour ribbon in red, cream, and green. The jewel is executed in gilt and enamel over sterling silver, featuring the elegant and characteristic RAOB design elements of the mid-20th century. The upper gilt bar is engraved ASCENSION LODGE, from which the wide ribbon descends, embroidered in gold with the intertwined letters R.A.O.B. G.L.E. Lot # 415 - Royal Arch Masonic Jewel Mid-20th Century (Exalted 1958)** Lodge: Tamar Lodge No. 3036 Material: Gilt metal with enamel (41.47 mm, 32.76 g). A bold and well-preserved Royal Arch Masonic jewel, formed as a radiating gilt star with finely struck detail and vivid enamel work. The obverse features the Royal Arch emblematic cipher HRA, rendered in red, white, and blue enamel, set within a deep cobalt-blue enamelled circular band bearing the Latin motto “PALMA NON SINE PULVERE” in gilt lettering. The obverse featuring a radiating gilt starburst enclosing a circular blue enamel centre bearing a Masonic cipher and motto. The reverse engraved “Bro. H. R. Bastin, R.D.H., Stanley Lodge 4234, 13th Dec. 1956”, with maker’s mark “L. Simpson (London) Ltd.” below, fitted with its original long pin fastening. Maker: Thomas Fattorini Ltd., Birmingham Hallmarked Sterling Silver (Birmingham, 1953–54) A distinguished and attractive R.A.O.B. Primo Jewel awarded to a Brother raised to the degree of Primo, the first major rank of honour within the Order. This example was issued to Coronation Lodge No. 8631, and features a fine combination of enamel, gilt metal, and sterling silver craftsmanship. Suspended below is the original dark-blue moiré ribbon embroidered in gold with the intertwined RAOB initials R.A.O.B. G.L.E. A finely made gilt-metal and enamel steward jewel issued by the Royal Masonic Institution for Girls in 1954. The elaborate medallion displays the Institution’s armorial shield—scales, green cross and crossed quills—beneath a helmet and tower crest, all within a red-and-white enamelled oval border inscribed R.M.I.G · 1954. The motto PERSEVERANCE AND COURAGE appears on a blue scroll below. Suspended from an ornate gilt scroll bar enamelled STEWARD and attached by a decorative chain, typical of Toye & Co. workmanship. Reverse stamped TOYE & Co LONDON. Condition: Very fine; enamel crisp and complete; minor wear to gilding; suspension chain fully intact. A scarce mid-century RMIG jewel of attractive manufacture.

Lot # 411 - A Worshipful Master’s jewel from the Mark Master Mason degree, awarded for the year of office 1952–53. (48.85 x 47.92 mm, 23.68 g). Suspension Bar Ornate gilt top bar with blue enamel text: “W.M. 1952–53” Below it, a similarly styled bar reading: “NEATH LODGE M.M.M. No. 1125” Ribbon Traditional MMM colours: maroon and pale blue vertical stripes. Original pin and fittings intact. Main Jewel A large, finely cast gilt Mark Master's Square, decorated with scrolling foliage. Suspended from this is the Keystone, the central emblem of the Mark degree. Keystone Constructed in peach-coloured celluloid/resin (typical of mid-20th century MMM jewels). Obverse: K S H T W S T, the traditional Mark cipher. Reverse: Triangle-within-circle symbol and Hebrew characters. Reverse Inscriptions Engraved on the back of the square: “Presented to W. BRO. R. S. WILLIAMS, P.M. Neath Mark Lodge 1125, 27/6/53.” Hallmarks (F&S) appear near the lower bar. NOTES & CONTEXT This is a classic post-war British Mark Master Mason WM jewel, reflecting the style used by many Welsh lodges in the 1940s–60s. Neath Lodge No. 1125 is part of the Province of South Wales. Such pieces with clear inscriptions and intact keystone tend to be desirable to collectors.

Simpson, London (maker’s mark & silver hallmarks on reverse) Material: Sterling Silver, Gilt, Enamel; Original Two-Tone Green Silk Ribbon A handsome and substantial Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes – Grand Council Jewel, issued to a member of Hexalpha Lodge No. 1716. The top suspension bar is decorated with a buffalo-horn motif and engraved with the lodge name. The long green ribbon is embroidered in gold thread with: RAOB – GRAND COUNCIL Suspended below is a finely executed medallion featuring a gilt kangaroo on a shield (the emblem used by many Australasian RAOB jurisdictions), framed in deep blue enamel with the title: GRAND COUNCIL The reverse carries a full inscription: Presented to Bro. Presented jewel, silver, formed as a large hinged square and compasses frame, richly engraved with floral and symbolic decoration, suspending a central articulated rectangular panel with frosted and polished Masonic emblematic detailing, the whole suspended from a circular ring. The obverse finely engraved with dense floral ornament, symbolic emblems, and a central articulated drop panel framed with repeating geometric border motifs, displaying stylised Masonic symbolism in frosted silver relief. The reverse engraved “Presented to Bro. W. H. A. This example incorporates the Kent “Invicta” rearing horse emblem, marking the wearer as a steward representing the Province of Kent. Suspended from a pale blue moiré ribbon, the jewel is surmounted by a gilt bar enamelled STEWARD.
